Marvin, NCThe Village of Marvin is located in Union county, right outside of Charlotte, NC. This small community wanted to control their own destiny. After many attempts by the town of Indian Trail to annex Marvin, the village was incorporated on July 1, 1994. It is now a quiet community that takes pride in their history their agriculture and horse farms, dating back to the early 1800’s. The Village of Marvin offers a quiet community with beautiful open spaces and great recreational activities for all to enjoy. There are chili cook-off’s and bakes-off’s, and community celebrations for the family. Also in this rural community there is walking, biking, and horse trails to enjoy through their greenway's and parks. New school buildings have just been completed for Marvin. Also as a Marvin resident you could take advantage of North Carolina having the fifth lowest college tuition in the nation. If looking to relocate, new subdivisions are being built daily. Spacious homes on large lots are easily found. They can be economically heated and cooled as this area has Duke Energy as their electric company. They claim to have the third lowest rates in the nation. You will not find a better community then the Village of Marvin to live and raise a family. How about exceptional value?
